The Game Awards 2018: All Of The Game Award Winners

Today, Geoff Keighley’s Game Awards 2018 kicked off this evening and ushered in awards for 2018 video game releases. While most of the winners probably won’t be shocking (I’m looking at you Red Dead Redemption 2), there were a few underdog upsets that made it slightly more compelling.

2018 had some amazing games, to the point that even when a game fully deserved to win an award, there was at least one or two others nominated within that same category that could have easily taken it. Some extremely tough decisions had to be made and no matter who got the individual awards, it was the gamers as a whole who won this year. The experiences were diverse and interesting; video games were pushed in multiple directions, thanks to the hard work of everyone involved–from numerous Indie developers all the way up to the AAA behemoth studios. Everyone was on their “game” this year, and it shows.
