Sonic will be joined by some of his friends in LEGO Dimensions when his expansion is released on November 18th, 2016.
Announced via Twitter, characters Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and Big The Cat will join Sonic The Hedgehog in LEGO dimensions. The tweet reads:

Sonic joins a list of new expansions leading into the second year of LEGO Dimensions, including Harry Potter, Adventure Time, The A-team, and J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts. It is unknown at this time if other characters such as Amy, Silver, or Vector will join these characters in their adventure.
LEGO Dimensions is available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Wii U.
