Mighty No. 9 Delayed Until 2016

Mighty No. 9, the spiritual successor of Mega Man by developer Keiji Inafune, has been delayed until an undetermined date in 2016.

Initially the game had a proposed release for September later this year, however recently many retailers were reporting that the target release had been changed to 2016. Game Informer was able to confirm that these listings were accurate.

Comcept, the development team behind Mighty No. 9, announced that production of the game had finished in January and was awaiting the final publishing steps from Deep Silver.

Comcept and Deep Silver haven’t been available for comment regarding the game’s delay, so the reason as to why the delay is happening is still unknown. Stay tuned to informedPixel.com for the latest regarding Mighty No. 9.
