Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference Is Longer Than 90 Minutes To Fit In More Games

Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference is going to be a tad longer this year.

Instead of the traditional 90-minute conference that Microsoft typically holds, Phil Spencer confirmed that the conference would run for a bit longer, to make room for some more games. This is the first time that Microsoft has passed the hour and a half threshold in years, but we are glad to hear that their focus will remain on the software.

This is a big year for Microsoft, as the company will be spilling the beans on its new console, the Project Scorpio. We are expecting to see a new name, price, release date, and final specifications for what the console will ship with when it releases this Fall. We should also hear more about the upcoming software lineup for the Xbox One and Project Scorpio, including a possible reveal of the next entry in the Forza Motorsport series.

The Xbox E3 Press Briefing starts on Sunday, June 12th, at 2 PM PT.

nice, hope they use most of that time with games and not Scorpio… i am not interested in Sea of Thieves or Crackdown and i don’t see much thing coming to the platform, some Single Player stuff would be very welcome :)
