MoeNovel and PULLTOP recently released pre-orders for their visual novel, Lovekami -Divinity Stage- for the Nintendo Switch. The narrative follows the lives of Goddesses who have to descended to Earth. Their goal? To become the Top Idol.
In a bleak time where dreams had been forgotten and lost and when people only believed what they only saw, visions of goddesses suddenly appeared! The Japanese sun deity, Amaterasu, wished to teach the goddesses about the human world.
All of this leads to the creation of the Divine Education Act. Goddesses and humans learned to co-exist in the human world.
In Akihabara, the very heart of the Divine Idol, seven lucky goddesses dominate as the idol group known as L☆SEVEN. They join the idol contest of glamour that’s getting held, which contains everything that their dreams are made of!
Shuri looks up to her older sister, Bishamonten, who is a member of the previously mentioned L☆SEVEN. Her admiration makes her perform on the streets with the aim to become an idol as well.
She’s down-to-earth, bubbly and usually hardworking, but can easily loses interest in things. In spite of her bubbly personality and faux confidence, she ends up comparing herself to her more-successful sister and doesn’t give herself some much-deserved credit.
Shuri represents prosperity, happiness, beauty, and wealth. She is worshipped in hopes of gaining respect and in hope for abundance of harvests.
Ame no Uzume is a deity originally found in Shinto mythology. She’s in extremely ancient legends, such as the tale of the missing sun deity, when Amaterasu Omikami hid herself away at Amano-Iwato. She’s said to be Japan’s oldest performance artist. Kagura likes to have fun, but she’s not a slacker. Her dances are uniquely rhythmic and unique to hers alone.
She usually gives the audience a little more of a risque and seductive performance as she easily gets informal. However, there are also times when she’s really calm. Her personality is carefree and playful, which easily comes across in how she interacts with others.
Sara Benzaiten has a lot of blessings; she is the goddess of music, good fortune, the arts, victory, and water. Thus, earning her centre position in L☆SEVEN. Furthermore, she loves to sing and play her guitar, but since she hasn’t fallen in love yet, she often becomes doubtful of her ability to play or sing love songs convincingly.
She talks in a calm and collected tone, in spite of letting her playful side show during conversations at times.
