Importance Of Legacy
One major thing that the video covered was the importance of respecting past Halo titles yet create something new. This will help ensure classic fans and new ones alike are satisfied when going into the unique experience!
“We’ve tried to bring all these elements of legacy and really inject them into Halo Infinite. Not just like, in a way where you won’t notice it, where you feel like ‘oh, they really designed this to be a celebration of previous Halo’ as well as an iteration of where Halo can go next.”
Big Team Battle
Additionally, the video also focused on the revamped Big Team Battle mode. We know that vehicles and weapons will be dynamically dropped off on the battlefield periodically throughout the match. The mode will also 12v12, increasing the possibility for epic moments in the game.
They also revealed The Academy, a training ground for Spartans to prepare for Multiplayer. It will range from standard target practice to a full-blown Multiplayer match with friendly and hostile bots. This is the first halo title to introduce AI in custom multiplayer.
Spartans will have various customisation options introducing prosthetic limbs, Armor Cores, Gloves, and more! With a wide range of armour, weapon, and vehicle coatings, players will be able to stand out with their unique customisations!
Additionally, the UNSC will equip the Spartans with their own unique smart AI! Like Cortana with The Master Chief, they will assist in marking objectives and informing of current events during the battle!
Battle Pass, and Conclusion
Finally, they also confirmed that Infinite’s Battle Passes would never expire; and have no time limit for completion. Once you purchase a Battle Pass, it’s yours to unlock forever. Additionally, you can purchase Battle Passes at any time, meaning that you can buy Season 1’s Battle Pass during Season 5!
