Fire Emblem: Three Houses Gets A 4th House As DLC

Fire Emblem: Three Houses Gets A 4th House As DLC

Just recently, a brand new character got revealed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The reveal of the 5th DLC character was presented live and gained the attention of all fans of the franchise. Revealed at near enough exactly the same time was the brand new Fire Emblem: Three Houses DLC. As such, many people may have missed this announcement.

After the announcement that Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses would be joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Fire Emblem community was hyped! This hype kept rolling as Fire Emblem: Three Houses fans realised they didn’t just get one awesome reveal that day. The new DLC named Cindered Shadows got a brand new trailer, which shows off an apparent 4th house in the game. I guess it’s time for the games name to change to Fire Emblem: Four Houses.

Jokes aside, this 4th house isn’t technically an official house, but more a group of misfits who live under the Monastery. This 4th secret house is called The Ashen Wolves. Without a teacher or mentor to guide them, they simply go at their own pace. The trailer gives a little more detail into the characters and why they’re appearing, so I’d recommend checking it out.

The brand new characters shown in the trailer look likeable, much like near every other character in the game. It’ll be interesting to see where abouts this takes place in the story, or if it’ll be it’s own completely separate route. Since the original routes in the game mould so well together, It’ll be a difficult challenge to add this new secret house without making it feel forced.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses – Cindered Shadows releases February 13th, 2020, as part of the Expansion Pass. Are you excited about this brand new DLC?
